Oracle founder Larry Ellison buys $1bn stake in Tesla

Oracle Corporation founder Larry Ellison has acquired a $1bn or 1.75 percent stake in Tesla, making him the carmaker’s second-biggest individual investor after Elon Musk. Tesla announced Ellison’s appointment to their board on December 28th.
