Oracle to shut Chinese R&D base
Oracle
Oracle Corporation will shut down its research and development arm in China with the loss of 900 jobs, according to reports. Oracle’s R&D centre in Beijing will be worst affected, with 500 layoffs.
Oracle’s Asia Pacific arm accounts for around 16% of the company’s total revenues.
