Oracle buys DataScience.com

Oracle has signed an agreement to acquire DataScience.com. The product empowers data scientists to deliver insights in less time with self-service access to open source tools, data and computing resources. Organisations like Amgen, Rio Tinto and Sonos use the DataScience.com platform to improve productivity, reduce operational costs and deploy machine learning solutions faster to power their digital transformations.

“With the combination of Oracle and DataScience.com, customers will be able to harness a single data science platform to more effectively leverage machine learning and big data for predictive analysis and improved business results”, said Amit Zavery, Executive Vice President of Oracle Cloud Platform.
