Graduate Database Service Desk Consultant
An excellent opportunity for a recent IT graduate to join our Edinburgh-based out-of-hours database and application support team, with company-funded training and a clear progression path into Oracle or SQL Server DBA roles.
Graduate Database Service Desk Consultant required to join our successful IT consultancy working in our out-of-hours database/application-focused support team, from our Edinburgh office.
This is an excellent opportunity to progress both technically and professionally. Our role would suit recent IT graduates with ambitions to pursue a career in Database Administration, as we operate a clear career progression path from Database Service Desk Consultant to Senior DBA positions, and a number of our service desk members have already been promoted to Oracle and SQL Server DBA roles.
Self-training is available via company-provided eLearning, and we sponsor all relevant professional exams (OCA, OCP, MCSA & MCSE).
This is a great opportunity to ultimately enter a highly paid profession (DBA roles), with little or no initial database experience.
We are keen to speak to recent, high-calibre graduates from Computer Science or other IT-related disciplines.
