Secure Reporting Solution – Payments Services Organisation
Our client uses their customer’s highly sensitive data to help fight crime in the financial sector. A secure reporting solution was quickly needed, to be bolted onto the existing SQL Server database. The data owner stipulated that development must only be performed by thoroughly security vetted SQL Server professionals, working from security audited offices over a controlled network connection.
Compliance and Vetting Included
Due to the nature of the data, our consultants had to undergo stringent security checks. Pro DBA offices were also visited by auditors to verify their security, and specialist access devices were installed in our offices to provide highly secure access to the data. All of these pre-engagement steps were accommodated by Pro DBA for no charge to the client.
Solution Design, Development and Implementation
The reporting solution was required to identify and highlight data trends and patterns. Our SQL consultants worked closely with both our client and the data owners to deliver the solution, accommodating a number of changes to the original specifications along the way.

We delivered the solution and then supported it during the bedding-in phase, before dismantling and returning the remote access devices. Our client is delighted with the product, as it will save their analysts many days of manual analysis over the coming months and years.
